Study Shows Lypo-Spheric™ Vitamin C Reduces the Appearance of Fine Lines & Wrinkles

A recent, double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted in the UK shows that daily doses of 1,000 mg (one packet) and 3,000 mg (three packets) of Lypo-Spheric™ Vitamin C can increase skin firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 4 weeks.

The study involved participants ages 31-65+. Participants were instructed not to use any moisturizers or other skincare products during the study.

Participants’ skin firmness and elasticity were measured at five points throughout the study by Cutometer MPA 580, the Courage + Khazaka electronic GmbH elasticity measurement device. Profilometry assessments were also completed at five points to measure wrinkles and other fine lines around the eyes.

After 16 weeks, results show that the group who took one packet a day saw an average of 35% increase in skin firmness and 8% reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The group who took three packets a day experienced an impressive 61% increase in skin firmness and a 14% decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, when compared to baseline.
